The site is located in a high density transit oriented precinct nearby to Milton Train station,Park Road restaurants,Suncorp Stadium,Brisbane River and bikeways allowing residents to live,work and play in close proximity to public transport and a variety of commercial,entertainment and recreational facilities. The design intention was to create a sense of place and make a positive contribution to the emerging mixed use high density urban context,whilst simultaneously embracing relevant design principles for a subtropical climate.
The overall building mass is perceived as a dynamic composition by reduction into several smaller elements that are connected and inter related (as compared to a conventional single tower and podium solution). Further articulation of each element creates a strong and bold architectural vocabulary.
There are 70 x 1 & 2 bed units over 15 storeys.
