AG Architects were engaged by the National Airports Corporation to create a memorable coffee experience within the refurbished Jacksons International airport in Port Moresby.
The brief required the space to tell the history of coffee production in PNG – from bean to cup.
The design style is semi industrial with a modern twist, but at the same time the senses are soothed with warmth, detail and a great coffee aroma.
The aviation references provide the duality of intrigue and further historical allegory.
The Coffee Hub will no doubt leave a lasting memory of coffee PNG style with international travellers.
